چکیده

This study focused on studies of pesticide residues in organic product. With increasing health and environmental awareness, organic farming has become an integral part of the agricultural policy in many countries. It is the less harmful to human and environment. The target of organic farm is not high quantity of production, but is the high quality. The market value of organic products in Europa was 45 billion € in 2010 and was 27.5 million $ in Turkey in 2009. Organic foods include less measurable residues than IPMgrown and conventionally grown food. Pesticide residues in organic products are primarily related to obstinate environmental contamination. Registered pesticides in organic farm are regulated by EC Regulation 889/2008. EU Reports on Pesticide Residues in Food published by EFSA based on 3 different market categories in 2010, 2012 and 2013. Residue data were evaluated in USA by 3 pesticide data programmes. For organic foods, there is no specific MRL list in Europa, USA and Turkey, but 0.010 mg kg and 10% of the MRL has been applied for many years in Europa and 5% of the EPA tolerance in USA as well.

Monitoring of Pesticide Residues in Strawberry and Soil from Different Farming Systems in Egypt

A total of 144 Kg of strawberry and 38 soil samples, representing two types of farming production e.g. conventional (C), organic (O), was collected from (Bilbeis and AL-Salhia, New AL-Sharqiya governorate) Egypt. Pesticides residues were determined by gas chromatography with mass selective detector (GC-MSD). This method used to determine 86 pesticide residues with a broad range of physico-chemi...

Perspective on Dietary Risk Assessment of Pesticide Residues in Organic Food

Previous studies have shown that organically produced food has lower risks of pesticide contamination than food that is not organically produced. However, organically produced food is not entirely free of pesticide residues. A large, high-quality U.S. Department of Agriculture database reports pesticide residues in several dozen organic and conventionally grown foods on an annual basis, and sup...

Organochlorine residues pose surprisingly high dietary risks.

All US government pesticide residue datasets show that persistent organochlorine (OC) insecticide residues are surprisingly common in certain foods despite being off the market for over 20 years. Residues of dieldrin, in particular, pose substantial risks in certain root crops. About 60% of the samples of organic vegetables found to contain pesticides are contaminated with OCs. Government regul...

The levels of the positive detections in these analyses are generally being estimated on the basis of e...
